Engineers India Limited Associate Engineer Recruitment 2026 (Fixed Term)

The recruitment covers Associate Engineer posts on a fixed-term basis across several engineering disciplines.

Disciplines covered include Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Environment and Materials/Corrosion. The place of posting is the National Capital Region, but can be anywhere in India or abroad as per organisational need.

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) in the relevant discipline with at least 60 percent marks or equivalent CGPA.

Experience (as on 31-05-2026): Minimum 5 years post-qualification relevant experience for Grade II; minimum 9 years for Grade III, preferably in Refinery, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Fertilizer, Chemical, Offshore, Pipeline or LNG projects.

Age (upper limit as on 31-05-2026): 37 years for Grade II, 41 years for Grade III.

Age relaxation (upper limit): 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwD-General/EWS, 13 years for PwD-OBC (NCL), 15 years for PwD-SC/ST, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities in general. Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen also applies. Only persons with 40 percent or more disability may apply under the PwD category.

Selection is through screening of the application and certificates followed by a personal interview (walk-in). Only candidates meeting all eligibility requirements are considered for the interview.

Remuneration (consolidated monthly, including HRA and PF): Grade II earns Rs. 72,000 to Rs. 80,000 and Grade III earns Rs. 86,400 to Rs. 96,000, depending on the city category. Benefits include medical insurance premium reimbursement up to Rs. 2,00,000 per year, out-of-pocket reimbursement, GPAI coverage, travelling allowance for official duty, and 2 days paid leave per completed month.

Engagement term: Fixed term, initially 2 years, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. Interviews are tentatively held at Gurugram, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Vadodara; the exact location and date are mailed to each candidate's registered email.
