Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Mobile number — to verify your identity via OTP.
- Email address — to send you a sign-in link and identify your account. (If we add Google Sign-In later, we will receive your email from Google in the same way.)
- Display name (optional) — to address you on the site. Sharing it is your choice.
- Preparation preferences — target exams or focus topics, so we can surface the content most useful to you.
- Date of birth — to check age eligibility and age relaxation for the exams you look at.
- Education level — to check which posts you qualify for.
- Reservation category (General / OBC / SC / ST / EWS) — because age limits, fee concessions and cut-offs differ by category, and an eligibility answer that ignored it would be wrong.
Third-party services and advertising
We show advertisements via Google AdSense to keep the content free. AdSense and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Some outbound links on the site are affiliate links — when you click through and purchase from a partner, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This is disclosed wherever such links appear.
Analytics
We track anonymous, aggregate usage (pages viewed, time on site) to improve the product. We do not link this to your identity or share it with third parties beyond hosting and ad-serving partners.
What we don't collect
We do not ask for your religion, political affiliation, or financial information, and we do not sell your data. We do ask for your reservation category, because exam eligibility genuinely depends on it — it is stored only to answer eligibility questions, is never used for advertising, and is deleted automatically after 90 days.
How long we keep it
Your account details stay until you delete your account. The details you give an eligibility check — date of birth, education level and category — are automatically erased 90 days after the check, whether or not you ask. Your answers and progress are kept while your account is open, so Jack remembers where you had got to.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can view, correct, and delete your data at any time. To erase your account and all associated data, go to the profile page and click "Delete my account".
