JSSC Assistant, Inspector and Other Posts Recruitment 2026 (JTGLCCE) — 611 Posts

A total of 611 posts are on offer across 10 post types under various departments of the Jharkhand Government. A separate Advertisement No. 02/2026 covers 4 backlog vacancies for reserved categories, and candidates can apply for both advertisements with a single examination fee. Sixty-four horizontal reservations exist for PwD candidates.

Age: Minimum 21 years for all posts as on 01-08-2025. Age relaxation applies as per Jharkhand Government rules. Only one of PwD or ex-servicemen age relaxation is allowed.

Qualification: Candidates must hold the post-wise minimum educational qualification specified in the official notification, possessed by the last date of application. Only Indian nationals are eligible.

The examination fee is payable online only and is non-refundable. Candidates from Jharkhand's SC/ST category who apply under another category at a concessional rate may have their application cancelled. Candidates applying for both Advertisement No. 01/2026 and 02/2026 pay only one fee.

1. Apply online only through the JSSC portal at https://jssc.jharkhand.gov.in.
2. Read the notification carefully and fill details as per your 10th certificate (name spelling must match exactly).
3. Keep scanned copies of your photograph, signature and required documents ready.
4. Pay the examination fee online by selecting JTGLCCE-2026 as the payment category.
5. Submit the form on or before 30-06-2026. The admit card must be downloaded from the JSSC website.

Selection is through two stages of Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in OMR/CBT mode. The Preliminary Examination has 120 MCQs over 2 hours with +3 marks for a correct answer and -1 for a wrong answer. The Main Examination has 3 papers. The final merit list is based on combined normalised marks of Paper-2 and Paper-3 of the Main Examination. If fewer than 50,000 candidates appear, the Preliminary Examination may be skipped.
