A total of 6565 Technician vacancies are proposed across all RRBs for the 2026-27 cycle:

• Technician Grade I Signal: B.Sc. (Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / IT / Instrumentation) or a Degree/Diploma in Engineering in a relevant discipline; age 18 to 36 years
• Technician Grade III: Class 10 (Matriculation) plus an ITI from NCVT/SCVT in a relevant trade, or an Act Apprenticeship in the trade; age 18 to 33 years
• Upper-age relaxation for reserved categories applies as per Government of India rules. Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards.

2. Read the detailed Centralised Employment Notification (CEN No. 02/2026) carefully.
3. Register and fill the online application with correct details.
4. Upload the photograph, signature and documents in the prescribed format.
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Submit the form and keep a printout for reference.

Selection involves a Computer Based Test (100 objective questions, 100 marks, 90 minutes, with 1/3rd negative marking), followed by document verification and a medical examination. There is no Computer Based Aptitude Test for these posts.
