The State Level Empowered Committee (SLEC), TET, Assam has released the admit card for the Special Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026. Candidates who registered for Paper-I (Lower Primary) or Paper-II (Upper Primary) can download their hall ticket from 12 June 2026 (11:00 AM onwards). The written examination will be held on 28 June 2026 (Sunday).

Eligibility

The Special Assam TET 2026 covers candidates seeking eligibility for teaching posts in Lower Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6 to 8) schools in the Bodo, Garo, Manipuri, and Hmar medium categories. - Paper-I: For those who wish to teach at the Lower Primary level. - Paper-II: For those who wish to teach at the Upper Primary level (candidates choose either the Mathematics & Science stream or the Social Science stream). Both papers contain 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. There is no negative marking. A candidate must score 60% to qualify, and the TET certificate carries lifetime validity once awarded.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to download the Special Assam TET 2026 hall ticket: 1. Visit the official Assam SEBA / ASSEB examination portal. 2. Open the Special Assam TET admit card login page. 3. Enter your Application Number (username). 4. Enter the password created at the time of online registration. 5. Click submit to view your hall ticket on screen. 6. Check every printed detail carefully (name, photograph, paper type, medium, examination date, reporting time, and centre address). 7. Download the admit card and take a clear colour printout. Keep at least two copies, one for the exam day and one as a backup.

On exam day, carry the printed admit card along with a valid original government photo identity proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving licence, or voter ID). A digital copy on a mobile phone is not accepted. Mobile phones and all electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
