UPSC CMS 2025 Final Result (Reserve List) Declared

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the Reserve List for the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2025 through a press note dated 25 June 2026. The main result, announced on 22 December 2025, had recommended 812 candidates. On a requisition from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Commission has now recommended 30 additional candidates from the Reserve List (Category II) to fill the remaining posts. The category break-up of these 30 candidates is: 5 Unreserved, 22 OBC, 2 EWS and 1 SC. The Reserve List is a secondary merit list maintained under Rule 13(4) and Rule 13(5) of the CMSE 2025 Rules, in order of merit below the last recommended candidate in the main result. It is used to fill posts that remain after the main recommendation. The candidature of 10 of these candidates has been kept provisional. Their offer of appointment will not be issued until UPSC verifies their original documents. Provisional status remains valid for six months from the date the Reserve List was declared (25 June 2026); if the required documents are not submitted within this period, the candidature is liable to be cancelled. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare will communicate directly with the recommended candidates regarding appointment.
