UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor (Ganna Paryavekshak) Recruitment 2026 — 1182 Posts

A total of 1182 posts are available — 1000 under General Selection and 182 under Special Selection. The vacancies are distributed across Unreserved, Scheduled Caste, Other Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section categories as per UP reservation norms. Horizontal reservation applies for women, ex-servicemen, dependants of freedom fighters, persons with disabilities and outstanding sportspersons.

Eligibility is checked as on the last date of application (28-07-2026); age is reckoned as on 1 July of the advertising year.

Mandatory: Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and hold a valid UPSSSC score card may apply. Shortlisting for the Main Examination is based on normalized PET-2025 scores (15 times the category-wise vacancies). Candidates with zero or negative PET scores will not be shortlisted.

Age: Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years, with relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, ex-servicemen and other categories as per UP Government rules.

Qualification: As required under the UP Ganna Paryavekshak Service Rules, 1979. Candidates from outside UP do not get reservation benefits and are treated as Unreserved.

An online processing fee is payable via credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI or SBI e-Challan only. After successful payment the form is auto-submitted; the fee is non-refundable. The last date for fee reconciliation is 04-08-2026. The examination fee for the Main Examination is charged separately from shortlisted candidates only.

1. Visit the official UPSSSC website upsssc.gov.in.
2. Log in with your PET-2025 registration number using the OTP sent to your registered mobile/email.
3. Personal details from PET-2025 are pre-filled and cannot be changed. Fill in your educational qualification details in Section-II.
4. Enter the verification code and click "Submit"; an 11-digit registration number is generated. Pay the processing fee online.
5. Take a printout and keep it safe. The correction window is open up to 04-08-2026.

Selection is through a single Written (Main) Examination of 100 marks; there is no interview. Shortlisting for the written exam is based on normalized PET-2025 scores (15 times the category-wise vacancies). The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks in the Written Examination. There is negative marking — one-fourth (25%) of the marks for each wrong answer is deducted.
