CUET-UG 2026 Results Declared by NTA; Over 11.6 Lakh Candidates Appeared
The NTA declared CUET-UG 2026 results on 23 June 2026. Over 11.6 lakh of 15.68 lakh registered candidates appeared; one candidate scored 100 percentile in four subjects. The CBT exam was held across 321 cities for 2026-27 UG admissions.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results of the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2026 on 23 June 2026. One candidate achieved a 100 percentile score in four of the five subjects opted, the best performance in this year's exam.
As per the NTA, 22 candidates scored 100 percentile in three subjects, 180 in two subjects and 3,214 in one subject. A total of 15,68,867 unique candidates registered for the test, of whom 11,64,098 actually appeared. The top female candidate scored 1232.19 NTA score, slightly ahead of the top male score of 1230.82.
CUET-UG 2026 was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode across 321 exam cities, including 13 cities outside India. Candidates could choose up to five subjects from a pool of 37, made up of 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects and one General Aptitude Test. The exam was held in two windows — 11 to 31 May and 6 to 7 June 2026 — for admission to the 2026-27 academic session.
CUET-UG is the single-window entrance test for undergraduate admission to central and many other participating universities. For aspirants, the key facts to remember are the conducting body (NTA), the CBT mode, the percentile-based scoring, and the scale of participation.
