The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a tour named the Bharat Gaurav Mystic Mountain Tour. The 14-day journey begins in India, covers several destinations in the Northeast, and then crosses into Bhutan, which is the final international destination of the trip.
The tour enters Bhutan through the Phuentsholing border and covers important cultural and natural attractions there, including the cities of Thimphu, Punakha and Paro. Bharat Gaurav trains are special trains run to promote tourism to places of cultural and heritage importance.
