His appointment was confirmed by Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri, who stated that Mohan has been entrusted with additional responsibilities until a permanent replacement is selected.
In his statement, Mohan acknowledged systemic flaws that allowed misconduct to occur and pledged to strengthen internal controls and accountability mechanisms. He emphasized that any individual found responsible for lapses would face appropriate action under law.
