New Delhi will host the 22nd Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship 2026. The event is scheduled to be held from 27 July to 2 August 2026 at the Thyagraj Stadium in the national capital.
The championship is being organised jointly by the Government of Delhi and the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI). Players from more than 35 Commonwealth nations are expected to take part, including teams from England, Australia, Canada, South Africa and Singapore.
Officials have said the event will help strengthen India's sports infrastructure and support the country's wider plan to bid for and host major international sporting events in the coming years. India has earlier hosted large Commonwealth sporting events, including the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
