Eligibility

Educational Qualification: - First-class (minimum 60%) marks in the relevant ITI trade with a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT. - Completion of Apprenticeship with a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by the Directorate General of Training (DGT) in the relevant trade. - The ITI course must have been completed under the Conventional Training Pattern of the Craftsmen Training Scheme as a regular candidate. - SC/ST/PwD candidates are eligible with 55% marks (5% relaxation in minimum qualifying percentage).

Age Limit (as on 10-07-2026): - As per the official advertisement. SC/ST candidates get 5 years of relaxation; OBC-NCL candidates get 3 years. PwD candidates get an additional 10 years of relaxation over and above the relaxation applicable to their respective category (subject to minimum 40% disability).

How to Apply

  2. Locate the online application link under Advertisement No. KP/S/10/2026.
  3. Register using a valid personal email ID and mobile number that will remain active for at least one year.
  4. Fill in personal, educational, and category details accurately.
  5. Upload all mandatory documents (photograph, signature, 10th marksheet, NTC, ITI marksheets, NAC, experience certificate, identity proof, and category/PwD certificate if applicable) in the prescribed format.
  6. Pay the applicable application fee online (General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates only).
  7. Submit the form and note down the Registration Number for future reference.

Note: No change in category, address, email, mobile number, or test centre will be allowed after submission. The portal closes at 18:00 hrs on 10-07-2026.

Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Written Test (CBWT): 2-hour exam with three parts — Part I: 20 questions on General Awareness; Part II: 20 questions on English and Reasoning; Part III: 60 questions on the relevant trade discipline. Each question carries 1 mark; no negative marking. Qualifying mark is 45% (40% for SC/ST/PwD).
  2. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted in order of merit are called to produce original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies.
  3. Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Candidates who clear document verification receive a Provisional Offer and must pass a medical examination. No relaxation in health standards is given.
  4. Final Offer of Engagement: Issued only after a satisfactory medical report.
