Eligibility

Nationality / Domicile: Must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Manipur. Must be able to speak Manipuri or any notified Scheduled Tribe dialect of the state. Must be sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange.

Educational Qualification: Varies by post — Group B requires graduation or higher; Group C requires graduation (Field Assistant) or 10+2 with computer knowledge (LDC/OACCO); Group D posts require Matriculation (Class 10 pass).

Age Limit: Differs by post (refer to official notification). Relaxations: - SC/ST candidates: 5 years above the upper age limit - OBC candidates: 3 years above the upper age limit - Serving Government of Manipur employees: relaxed to the extent of their continuous service - One-time relaxation of 2 years for candidates slightly above the prescribed upper age limit (all posts)

Selection Process

Selection is conducted in three groups based on the post applied for:

Group B (Assistant Agriculture Officer and equivalent): Written test (MCQ paper) followed by a Viva Voce (interview).

Group C — Field Assistant / Equivalent: Written MCQ test at graduate level.

Group C — LDC / Office Assistant-cum-Computer Operator: Departmental written test.

Group D (Peon, Chowkidar, Lab Attendant and others — 125 combined vacancies): Written test only, set at Matriculate (Class 10) level.
