Andaman and Nicobar Combined Matric Level Exam 2026 - 1535 Group C Posts

A total of 1535 tentative Group C non-ministerial vacancies are announced across 194 post codes in multiple departments. Key departments include the Directorate of Education (157 Multi Tasking Staff), the Department of Environment and Forests (110 Forest Guard), Health Services, Shipping Service, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service, Public Works, Agriculture and others. Note: No Scheduled Caste reservation applies in the Islands as no SC communities are notified for this Union Territory. Post-code-wise details are given in the official notification.

Educational Qualification: Requirements vary by post and pay level, as listed in Annexure-I of the notification. - Posts at Pay Level 1 to 2: Matriculation (10th class pass) or a relevant ITI or trade certificate. - Posts at Pay Level 3 to 5: a relevant technical diploma or degree as specified per post. - The applicant must be an Indian national and must meet all conditions as on the closing date, 28 June 2026.

Age Limit (as on 28 June 2026): 18 to 33 years for male candidates and 18 to 38 years for female candidates for Group C posts. Age relaxations apply over and above the upper age limit as per rules.

The fee is paid online through Net Banking, Card or UPI, and is not refundable.

2. Go to the online recruitment portal and find the Combined Matric Level Examination 2026 advertisement.
3. Read the full notification and Annexure-I for post-specific qualification details before applying.
4. Register and fill out the online application form with correct personal and educational details.
5. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
6. Pay the fee online where applicable.
7. Review all details and submit the form between 08 June and 28 June 2026.
8. Save or print a copy of the submitted application for future reference.

The selection process has three stages: Tier-I is a Tablet Based Test (online examination); Tier-II is a Physical Standard Examination, Physical Measurement and Endurance Test, or Skill/Trade Test, which is qualifying in nature; and this is followed by Document Verification.
