APSC Junior Engineer (Electrical) Recruitment 2026 — 53 Posts

A total of 53 posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) are on offer under the Public Works (Building and National Highways) Department, Assam, with category-wise reservation as per Government rules.

Age: 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2026, with upper age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government norms.

Qualification: A 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognised institute.

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. A Permanent Resident Certificate of Assam or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam is required as domicile proof.

The application fee and processing charges are payable online during the application process. In case of payment failure, candidates can use the Check Status option to verify with the bank.

1. Apply online only through the APSC recruitment website at https://apsc.nic.in.
2. New users must first complete the One Time Registration with a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Log in and fill all required application details carefully.
4. Upload documents (date of birth proof, marksheets, caste/domicile certificates) in PDF format, and photograph and signature in JPG format.
5. Pay the fee online and submit. Take a printout of the submitted form.

The detailed selection procedure and examination scheme will be notified later on the APSC website. Document verification is conducted at the interview stage.
