A total of 44 posts of Sugar Cane Officer are on offer under the 72nd Combined Competitive Examination.
Eligibility
Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University. Preference may be given to candidates with qualifications related to Agriculture or allied fields.
Age (as on 01-08-2026): Minimum 20 to 22 years (as applicable). Maximum age: General (Male) 37 years, OBC/Female 40 years, SC/ST 42 years. Age relaxation applies as per BPSC and Bihar Government rules.
Only candidates with valid Bihar domicile are eligible for reservation benefits; candidates from outside Bihar can apply under the Unreserved category only.
Application Fee
The examination fee is payable online during the application process and is non-refundable. Incomplete applications without fee payment are rejected.
How to Apply
- Apply online only through the BPSC Online Application portal at https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in (linked from https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in).
- New users must complete the One Time Registration (only one OTR per candidate is allowed).
- Upload documents in PDF format and a live webcam photograph with a light background.
- Upload both Hindi and English signatures in the prescribed format.
- Pay the examination fee online and submit on or before 31-05-2026.
Selection Process
Selection is based on a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination has negative marking of one-third mark for each wrong answer. The detailed syllabus is available on the BPSC website.
