Selection Process

About three times the number of vacancies per discipline are shortlisted for Stage 2, the Interview/Personality Test (75 marks). The final merit list combines marks from both stages.

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Paper I covers General Studies (150 questions, 300 marks). Paper II covers Engineering (150 questions, 300 marks) in one chosen discipline — Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The detailed syllabus is available on the official CGPSC website.
