Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC)
The Gujarat Public Service Commission has invited online applications for 235 Assistant Engineer (Class-2) posts across the Civil and Mechanical branches. Of these, 200 posts are for Assistant Engineer (Civil) under the Roads and Buildings Department, while 35 posts fall under the Gujarat Maritime Board (24 Civil and 11 Mechanical). Engineering graduates can apply online between 5 June and 19 June 2026.

Eligibility
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (for AE Civil posts) or Mechanical Engineering (for AE Mechanical posts) from a university or institution recognised under a Central or State Act in India, or a Deemed University under the UGC Act.
Other Requirements: Basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
Age Limit: As specified in the official advertisement, with relaxation for reserved categories as per GPSC rules.

Application fee is payable online as specified in the official advertisement. Fee concession is available to reserved-category candidates of Gujarat as per GPSC rules.
