The Haryana Public Service Commission has reopened the online application window for 255 Assistant District Attorney (Group-B) posts in the Prosecution Department, Haryana, under Advertisement No. 18 of 2025. Fresh applications are accepted from 25-05-2026 to 29-05-2026. Candidates who applied earlier need not apply again.

Vacancy Details

A total of 255 Assistant District Attorney (Group-B) posts are on offer. Horizontal reservation includes 14 posts for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (locomotor disability / cerebral palsy) and reserved posts for ex-servicemen across categories.

Eligibility

  • Qualification: A Bachelor of Laws (Professional) degree from a recognised University, and Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric or a higher standard.
  • Candidate must be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
  • Age (as on 02-09-2025): Minimum 21 years, maximum 42 years. Age relaxation applies as per Haryana Government rules for SC/BC, PwBD and other reserved categories.
  • Nationality: Indian citizen.

How to Apply

  2. Register using your mobile number and Aadhaar number to create a Login ID.
  3. Log in and fill the online application form carefully.
  4. Upload scanned copies of all required documents.
  5. Pay the application fee online.
  6. Download the form, check the details, sign it and upload the signed copy.
  7. Take a printout of the final form. The application is complete only after the signed copy is uploaded.

Selection Process

Selection is made through a multi-stage process: a Screening Test (objective type, for shortlisting only), a Subject Knowledge Test (main written examination), and an Interview. The final merit list is based on the Subject Knowledge Test and Interview. Document verification and medical fitness checks are done before final appointment.
