HPSCB Junior Clerk Recruitment 2026 — 91 Posts

A total of 91 Junior Clerk posts are available — 74 under the PACS quota (reserved for trained secretaries of PACS in HP) and 17 under the OCS quota (for employees of other cooperative societies and PACS staff not covered as trained secretaries). The posts are distributed across General, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, IRDP, WFF and PwBD categories, and reserved benefits apply only to bonafide Himachali candidates.

Eligibility is checked as on 01-01-2026.

Age: Above 18 years and below 45 years (born between 02-01-1981 and 01-01-2008). Age relaxation applies only to bonafide Himachali candidates of the respective reserved categories.

Qualification: A graduate degree in any discipline, along with the required cooperative society experience (3 years for the PACS quota; 5 years for the OCS quota). The experience certificate must be issued by the Inspector of Society and countersigned by the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies of HP, supported by the managing committee resolution and statutory audit report pages. Candidates must not be defaulters of their society.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online through the application portal. Bank transaction charges are borne by the candidate. The fee once paid is not refunded under any circumstances. Candidates should check the official notification for the exact amount applicable to their category.

1. Visit the Bank's official website hpscb.bank.in and click "APPLY ONLINE".
2. Register on the portal and keep ready a scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a hand-written declaration in English on white paper.
3. Fill the application form; signatures in capital letters are not accepted.
4. Pay the fee online and upload all required documents.
5. Click "COMPLETE REGISTRATION" (no change is possible after this) and keep the e-receipt and a printout of the application.

Selection has two stages: an Online Examination of 150 marks (150 minutes, conducted by IBPS Mumbai) followed by Document Verification. There is no interview. Candidates must score at least 40% to qualify. Candidates up to 1.75 times the number of posts are called for document verification, and final selection is on merit in the online examination.

The Online Examination has 5 sections — Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English, General Awareness, and the H.P. Cooperative Societies Act and Rules — each carrying 30 marks (total 150 marks, 150 minutes). Questions are objective-type MCQs at graduation level, bilingual (English and Hindi), with no negative marking.
