A total of 8 Motor Vehicle Inspector posts are available under the Transport Department, Government of Mizoram, with reservation as per government rules.

Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years, relaxable by up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates or as notified by the Government.

Qualification: HSLC (Class 10) or above, plus a 3-year diploma or higher in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognised institution.

Other requirements: A valid driving licence for a geared motorcycle and a light motor vehicle, computer proficiency as prescribed by the Mizoram service rules, and Mizo language proficiency as prescribed by the Government.
