Vacancy Details
A total of 635 apprenticeship training seats are on offer. Seats are divided State and Union Territory wise across SC, ST, OBC, EWS and Unreserved categories, with horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). A candidate may apply for only one State and one district. The number of seats is provisional and may change as per the bank's actual need.
Eligibility
- Qualification: A regular full-time graduation degree from a recognised University or Institute, obtained by 06-06-2026.
- Age (as on 01-05-2026): 20 to 28 years. The upper limit is for Unreserved and EWS candidates; age relaxation applies to SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.
- Candidates who already hold a post graduate degree are not eligible.
- Those who have already completed an apprenticeship, or have one year or more of work experience after their qualifying degree, are not eligible.
- A 100% complete profile on both the NAPS and NATS portals is required before applying.
- Knowledge of the local language of the chosen State or Union Territory is required.

How to Apply
- Complete a 100% profile on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) and note your NATS Enrollment ID.
- Visit the official Punjab & Sind Bank website (punjabandsind.bank.in).
- Open the Recruitment section and select the apprentice notification.
- Fill the form, choosing one State and one district.
- Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the required format.
- Pay the fee online and submit the application.
- Save a copy of the submitted form for your records.
Selection Process
There is no written examination. Selection is purely on merit based on Class 10+2 (HSC) marks. A merit list is drawn State-wise, district-wise and category-wise. If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate is ranked higher within the same category, State and district. Shortlisted candidates then go through document verification and a medical examination.
