Post: Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical), State Cadre, Engineer-in-Chief, Transport, Roads and Buildings Department, Government of Telangana.

Pay Scale: Rs. 54,220 – 1,33,630

Educational Qualification (as on 02 June 2026): A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognised university established under a Central or State Act, or an equivalent qualification such as A.M.I.E.

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026): Minimum 18 years, maximum 44 years (the upper limit reflects the 10-year general enhancement notified by the Telangana Government).

Age Relaxation: SC / ST / BC / EWS — 5 years; Persons with Disability — 10 years; State Government employees — up to 5 years based on service.

2. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) if not already done
3. Open the AEE (Electrical) — Notification No. 02/G/RB/2026 application link
4. Log in with your TGPSC ID, date of birth and OTP
5. Fill the application and upload documents
6. Pay the prescribed fee online
7. Submit and save the confirmation for future reference

1. Written Examination (Objective Type)
2. Paper-I: General Studies and General Abilities — 150 questions, 150 marks
3. Paper-II: Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Degree Level) — 150 questions, 300 marks
4. Total: 450 marks
5. Verification of Certificates

Exam Pattern: Two objective papers totalling 450 marks. - Paper-I (General Studies & General Abilities) is bilingual (English and Telugu) and covers current affairs, Indian and Telangana polity, economy, geography, science & technology, environment, disaster management, and reasoning/data interpretation. - Paper-II (Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Degree Level, English only) covers electric circuits and fields, power systems, electrical machines, measurements, power electronics and electric drives.
